Faith in Action – Drivers Needed
Faith in Action volunteer activities may include shopping for groceries, providing rides to medical or other appointments, cooking meals, doing light housework, running errands or providing companionship through visiting or phoning. Volunteers may also provide respite care for family caregivers. With the assistance of volunteers, community members with long-term health needs maintain their independence for as long as possible.

St. John’s Mission Garden
Since 2012, St. John's(Edwardsville) Mission Garden has been growing vegetables to give away to area food pantries and soup kitchens.
We need people to plant, weed & pick, AS WELL AS transport produce to pantries. We pick four times a week, and picking is scheduled to coordinate with food pantry hours of operation, so that vegetables can be delivered in good condition. You can sign up for a regular picking shift(usually starting in mid-June) or just plan to drop in occasionally. Weeding can always be done on your own schedule!
Need help telling weeds from plants? Or want more info about our mission? Call the church office or email the address below.
